I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
